SINTEMAR (Sistemas Industriales y Navales SLU) has proceeded on January 1, 2023 with the sale of its Rotating Equipment Business Unit dedicated to the maintenance of turbines, compressors and pumps in the energy and petrochemical industry, as well as the authorized technical service of BAKER HUGHES in Spain and Portugal for centrifugal pumps and reciprocating compressors for equipment manufactured by NUOVO PIGNONE and BAKER HUGHES.
The Business Unit has been acquired by BLACKSTONE INDUSTRIAL HOLDINGS LTD, a leading company in the provision of technical services for rotating equipment based in Calgary (Canada), thus complementing its expansion strategy in Italy and Brazil to support its operations in Europe, South Africa North and Latin America. The services will continue to be provided by the same technical team, maintaining all the existing workshop and service structures currently in Asua - Erandio (Vizcaya).
In this way, SINTEMAR concentrates its activity on its traditional line of activity: mechanical assembly, fixing and grouting of industrial and naval equipment, complemented by the supply of innovative products for industrial maintenance, delivering the services from its offices in Spain, Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela.
